Out of an abundance of concern for the health and safety of our students and staff, Clinton Sailing Club will not run any sailing programs for summer 2020.
The board spent the past two months trying to find a way to make it possible. Class size limits, face masks and distancing requirements, and the lack of a reliable disinfectant that would be safe for the equipment, environment, and sailors, left us no path to safely offer our programs.
We know this is disappointing, it certainly is for us. We plan to restart our programs and even expand our offerings for summer 2021. We hope your support will continue so when this pandemic is behind us we can all get out on the water again.
All fees paid thus far will be fully refunded. All sailorships awarded for 2020 will be honored for the 2021 season.
We will continue to monitor the situation. If circumstances change, allowing us to start up safely this summer, we will!
